Story Walk
You are invited to go out in nature and enjoy our latest Story Walk. Our Literacy Week book is "Up in the Garden Down in the Dirt".
"Up in the garden, the world is full of green, leaves and sprouts, growing vegetables, ripening fruit. But down in the dirt there is a busy world of earthworms digging, snakes hunting, skunks burrowing and all the other animals that make a garden their home." (taken from Amazon.ca)

S'mores Celebration and Wear Your PJ's Spirit Day (Friday, Jan. 28)
To wrap up our Literacy Week, we will have a Mystery Reader read "Stand Like a Cedar" via Teams at 1:45. Mrs. Robertson and Mrs. Poyner will be busy bringing the "outside in" with delicious baked s'mores for all the students and staff to enjoy while listening to this beautiful story. Students are also invited to wear their PJ's and get cozy!
Brechin Reading Tree (TBD)
Students will have a chance to vote for the type of tree they would like to see planted on our school grounds. This tree will one day grow big enough so that students can find shade to relax, play or read a book.
